Wir haben uns nach einem Fahrmarathon ueber 5 Tage und ca 3000km Fahrt endlich in Townsville an der Kueste eingefunden. Leider gab es auf dem Weg hier hoch fast nichts sehenswertes. Das einzigste was n bissle beeindruckend war, waren die "Devil Marbles"(Das sind vom wind geformte Runde Steine aus Quarz) 400km Noerdlich von Alice Springs. Wir haben an unserem 2ten Tag am Abend an der Tanke von Tennant Creek ein Deutsches Paerchen (Axel und Peti aus Dresden) getroffen, die wir dann lustigerweise am gleichen Rastplatz abends wieder getroffen haben. Und da wir uns gut verstanden haben und unser gemeinsames ziel die Arbeitssuche ist, haben wir uns gemeinsam auf den weg nach Queensland, Townsville gemacht. Townsville ist eine schoene Stadt am Meer mit dem Great Barrier Reef vor der Haustuer. Auch "little Miami" genannt. Da es Momentan noch keine Arbeit gibt (hat zu lange geregnet) werden wir die naechsten Tage am Strand verbringen und uns der Braeunung unserer Koerper und dem Meer widmen :-). Aber trotzdem hoffen wir das es bald arbeit gibt( scheinbar in 1-2 wochen erst) den unsere Kassen sind ziemlich leer. Mal schaun ob ich es schaffe Anna das schnorcheln beizubringen :-)!!

Uhh really hot here!!
We arrived after a big driving Marathon in 5 days and after hmm around 3000km in Townsville, Queensland. The way to Queensland wanst so interesting for us. The only interesting thing were the "Devil Marbles"( the wind forms over thousands of years round rocks) 400km north of Alice springs. We met a german couple (Axel and Peti from Dresden) at the petrol station at Tennant creek. The funny thing was that we met the same couple at the camp ground at the same evening. We had a nice evening and we deside that we drive the way to queensland together because we both (couples) need a place to work. So we arrived in Townsville yesterday together. But the bad thing is that there is no work avaible at the moment, cause it rains to much here in the last weeks. So the saison starts in 1-2 weeks. So we will relax at the beach in the next days. Hopefully we get a browny tan:-). But our money is melting away so that we hope that there is any work avaible at the end of the week.
But for the next days we will enjoy the sun and the beach with the the great barrier reef in front!!
